The OSDome is a next-generation hemispherical imaging lidar engineered for ultra-wide near-field perception and full-coverage spatial awareness. Designed with a unique 180° vertical hemispherical field of view and 360° horizontal coverage, the Rev8 OSDome delivers comprehensive environmental sensing for indoor tracking, autonomous mobile robots, industrial automation, smart infrastructure, and low-speed autonomous vehicles.

 

Featuring native RGB-D point cloud output, the OSDome combines high-resolution 3D depth sensing with color imaging to improve object recognition, obstacle detection, and human tracking accuracy in dynamic environments. With up to 128 vertical channels, configurable horizontal resolutions up to 4096, and zero minimum range capability, the sensor is optimized for close-proximity detection where blind spots and near-field visibility are critical.

 

Built to automotive-grade standards, the OSDome provides exceptional durability and operational reliability in harsh environments. The sensor supports functional safety standards including ASIL-B, SIL-2, and PLd, while also integrating advanced cybersecurity protection aligned with ISO 21434. Additional features such as integrated IMU synchronization, calibrated reflectivity, on-sensor 3D Zone Monitoring, and compatibility with ROS2, NVIDIA Isaac, MATLAB, and Ouster SDK make the OSDome a powerful perception solution for robotics and intelligent automation systems.
